Tuấn Episode 1

🧧 EPISODE 1: VALENTINE’S DAY & THE JEWELRY STORE BLUFF

When a Fake Millionaire Forgets to Block the Neighborhood Gossip

(A story about social-media flexing. Read to the end to see how pride can bankrupt your dignity.)

🎬 SCENE 1: THE EGO AWAKENS

On the morning of Valentine’s Day, Tuấn was scrolling through Facebook when he saw a post from K — an old friend who had always loved looking down on people.

K had just posted a picture of a gold ring he bought for his girlfriend, with the caption:

“A real man proves himself by how much he spends.”

Tuấn’s blood pressure rose immediately.

K had been mocking him for being broke since their college days.

That was it.

Today, Tuấn decided he was going to make K’s eyes pop out of his head.

🎬 SCENE 2: THE JEWELRY STORE PERFORMANCE

Tuấn marched straight into the fanciest jewelry store in town and pointed confidently at the most expensive white-gold bracelet in the display case.

With the calm face of a billionaire, he said,

“Let me see that one.”

The staff immediately switched to VIP mode.

Tuấn slowly picked up the bracelet, took photos, recorded a video, turned it around for a full 360-degree view… then suddenly held his phone to his ear like he was on a call.

“Hello, babe?
Hmm… you think this design looks a little too mature?
Okay, okay. I’ll check another store for something younger. Love you.”

He walked out of the shop looking like a CEO who had just rejected a multi-million-dollar deal.

But the moment he stepped onto the sidewalk, he went straight to a sugarcane juice cart, pulled out the last small bill in his wallet, and gulped down a drink to calm his wounded pride.

Because in reality, his wallet had been empty for years.

Sitting there, he carefully posted the photos to show off to K.

He made sure to block all his relatives, block his coworkers, and block every girl he knew — just in case anyone tried to fact-check his life.

Caption:

“If you love someone, you give them the best.
Valentine’s gift for someone special.”

When K reacted with a heart emoji, Tuấn nearly burst out laughing.

“Got you! You spent real money to impress people —
I didn’t spend a single dollar and still made you jealous.”

🎬 SCENE 3: THE CALL FROM MOM

Just as Tuấn was enjoying his victory…

His phone rang.

It was his mother.

Her voice exploded through the phone like a firecracker.

“Tuấn! You have a girlfriend now?
You bought a gold bracelet worth tens of thousands for her?!
The neighbor’s son Nam just called and told me he saw your Facebook post!”

She didn’t even pause before continuing.

“What kind of fool are you?!
On Valentine’s Day you give flowers, not gold jewelry!
What if she leaves you? Then you lose the bracelet too!
Did you borrow money just to pretend you’re rich?!”

Tuấn finally confessed in a tiny voice.

“Mom… I swear… I don’t even have a girlfriend.
I just posted the pictures to get revenge on an old friend.
I took the photos for fun — I couldn’t afford that bracelet even in my dreams!”

There was a long silence.

The kind of silence where a mother is calculating exactly how foolish her child has been.

Then she sighed deeply.

“Oh my God. Are you stupid?
If you post like that, all the girls will think you already have a girlfriend.
Who is going to talk to you now?
Are you planning to stay single forever because of your fake pride?”

Tuấn tried to reassure her.

“Don’t worry, Mom. I blocked everyone.
I even blocked all the girls at work.
Nobody saw it.”

His mother delivered the final blow.

“You idiot.
You blocked the whole world, blocked every girl you know…
but you forgot to block Nam, the neighborhood gossip.

He told me once — and he told the entire neighborhood ten times.
Now everyone thinks you’re rich and already taken.
Stop showing off and fix your attitude before you end up single for life!”

📌 UNCLE BẢY’S COMMENTARY

“Good heavens, these two boys are unbelievable.

K uses money to look down on his friends.

Tuấn tries to act rich with pure acting talent.

But in the end they both lose to the most powerful force in the neighborhood…

the local gossip network.

Remember this, kids:

You can block your relatives.
You can block your coworkers.
But never forget to block the neighbor who knows everything.

Because once the gossip spreads, your dignity disappears faster than a Valentine’s chocolate box.”
